The Red River Watercolor Society (RRWS) serves the watermedia artists in the Red River Valley Area of Minnesota, South and North Dakota. The volunteer organization serves to promote the interest, display and education in Watercolor and other water-based media in this region and nationally through their flagship National Juried Exhibition.
RRWS is a vibrant and enthusiastic group of artists who express themselves through watercolor and acrylic paintings.

2008 National Show
The entries are coming and artists will be notified from the 15th of March if their entries have been accepted.
The Workshop Entry Form is available on our Forms page. There are still a few slots for the workshop so contact Ellen Diederichs for more information.
We hope to see all our members at the Exhibition opening and juror presentation at 6pm on Tuesday the 6th May, 2008.

Being a successful artist: Check out the Events webpage for an exciting opportunity to learn more about the business of entering exhibitions, show and being a successful artist. 3 sessions will be held on the 3rd Tuesday starting in April.

May 5— June 15, 2008: Exhibition open—Hjemkomst Center: Monday—Saturday: 9 am—5 pm; Tuesdays 9am - 9 pm; Sunday: Noon—5 pmMay 5—9, 2008: Watercolor workshop Instructor: Carolyn Lord, Juror. See the Workshop page for more info.
May 6, 2008: Opening reception at Hjemkomst Center. Public invited, no admission fee. There will be a Juror's Slide Presentation: 6—7 pm followed by a Reception: 7—8 pm. Awards will be presented at 7:30pm.
June 16, 2008: Hand pick-up of paintings: 10 am—1 pm
