About Red River Watercolor Society
The RRWS is an active and vibrant collection of people who want to learn more about their craft. It serves a large area but meets in Moorhead.
The History of this Organization
The Society was founded in 1989 with a charter membership of 13 and has grown to over 180 artists. The Society's mission is to promote education, achievement and inspiration within the Society. RRWS has expanded its vision to encompass projects that encourage new artists and invite more community participation. The Society offers a variety of programs and opportunities that address many aspects of the art profession including business and marketing, exhibition, artist growth and enhancement of art experiences in the community.
