Red River Watercolor Society Home Page

The RRWS is a non-profit, international organization of volunteer art lovers who strive to advance the appreciation and education of the community and artists at all levels about watercolour.

2009 National Show 

The 2009 National Show is hung at the Plains Art Museum and will be open until the end of July.  The opening reception and judging was very well attended.  Click here for a list of the award winners.  This will open a PDF file.  Congratulations to all!

20th Anniversary Member Show

Painting delivery is June 29th.  The opening reception is the 14th of July. Check the calendar for more information.

** NEW ** 8th Street Show Dates have changed!

This event has been moved to July 8th and 9th.  Fargo City has moved forward a road construction project.  See you there from 11am - 7pm each day! 

Second Annual Art at the Lake

Ellen Diederich will guide us on a fun and informative weekend of art from the 18th to the 20th September at Northern Pines in Park Rapids.  We are also offering optional specialised workshops:  Sandy Miles will talk about mixing colors and Judi Koehmstedt's topic is painting faces and figures.  We are thrilled to be able to highlight the talents of 3 of our members.  The Application form is in our forms section.  The reservation deadline is June 30th, 2009.

Summer Paint Outs

Check the calendar for more opportunities for painting.  June 24th is our first gathering followed by a member's social. 

Cave Painting
